The Land Use Planning Treaty

The land use planning treaty was a treaty that was quite useful to the Haida people. It took them a while to negotiate this one, but it was well worth the wait. The Haida people were extremely happy from this treaty because it basically allowed them to rule their own land. It was as simple as that. The Haida people basically have control over their land and they were some proud people. They could basically do whatever they want to their land, like construction, how many trees get cut, anything!
