The Delegation Enabling Agreement Treaty

The delegation enabling agreement treaty was a treaty that the Haida people were excited to sign. They were really ecstatic to sign this treaty, as they would be the 24th First Nations group to sign it. This would make the Haida people feel connected to the other groups and everyone would come closer together. The Haida have been compared as equal to other groups and that always brings a positive effect to the table. No harm or hatred can come out of this and they should feel extremely happy and proud as a group for this accomplishment. This treaty basically was in between the Family Service Society and the British Columbia Ministry of Children and Family development. They allowed Haida children into family services.
